[Mech Array, Tactic]
Here are listed all the available bases that rules the amount of Mechs that can be displayed in the formation.
The bases have been named in honor of some of the main asteroids of the thousands that make up the asteroid belt of the solar system (home for Old Terra).
The bases have been named in honor of some of the main asteroids of the thousands that make up the asteroid belt of the solar system (home for Old Terra).
The asteroid belt is the circumstellar disc in the Solar System located roughly between the orbits of the planets Mars and Jupiter. It is occupied by numerous irregularly shaped bodies called asteroids or minor planets. The asteroid belt was also termed before the Discovery of the gateways system as the main asteroid belt or main belt.
Because the matrix changes from one base to another, sometimes a lower base can be stronger than a higher one, this will happen when the upper base shows lines with fewer points than the previous one. As shown, Diotima (Level 20) is a better base than some of the following before acquiring Thisbe (level 32), because while Diotima maintains a center line with 4 points, the following have only lines with 3 points, despite the fact that have a higher total number of points. Once Thisbe is acquired, the training will once again have a line with 4 points on its back and its expansion will be beneficial.
The reason why a line with more Mechs is so important is because the principle of concentration. A line with 4 Mechs will probably destroy opposing lines with only 3 points, when both contenders have Mechs of similar strength.
