Nakshi

[Mech Technology]

"Behold the javelin that pierces the stars"

The discovery of the blueprints of this Mech model in underground ruins of the mining planetoids AX-3,920 Gemini, allowed to the Shogunate scientists, engineers and historians to determinate the origin of the whole Serpentarius Series as the creation of an ancient alien race that fought the Forerunner civilization thousands of millenniums ago. If they or the Forerunner won the war, is something not determined yet, as so few of them is known through the small retrieved data.

The Nakshi class gathers the unique capacity to absorb and redirect a portion of the received energy, redirecting it towards the power plant and weaponry systems, and giving to the Nakshi its characteristic glowing aura.

Another feature of the Nakshi is its distinctive chassis, built with a secrecy alloy whose specifications and formula are carefully kept by the disciplined Sengakuji Engineers.

Like the other Serpentarius Mechs, the Nakshi was in the present era produced by AlphaCorp, the Shogunate Manufacturer, in facilities located in the sector that after the civil war of 3306 became segregated from the Shogunate, now known as Sengakuji Reaches, as a new Minor Power. The division of AlphaCorp in Sengakuji Reaches was the seed to create Blossom Mechworks, under the control of the new Power as its only manufacturer.

    Skriag

    This model of living Mech, fruit of the technology of an ancient alien race enemy of Forerunners and of which practically very little is known, has many similarities with its genetic "twins", Gigus and Nakshi.

    Like them, this Mech was discovered in underwater facilities, this time in the distant aquatic planet of Virumeh, whose surface is mostly covered by a vast ocean barely interrupted by tiny tectonic bands that emerge from its turbulent oceanic waters.

    Before its "rescue", study and production, the found first prototype of Skriag starred in the massacre of the unfortunate pioneers and treasure hunters who tried to desecrate its millenary lethargy.

    As with Gigus and Nakshi, to access the control cabin of the Skriag, it is necessary to be "swallowed". But the pilots of Skriag describe the connection with this Mech as an experience of mystical transcendence, because the AI ​​enhances the senses of the pilot by subjecting him to a state similar to ecstasy.

    The main peculiarity of the Skriag model is the ability to phase, altering the vibration of its molecular composition, allowing it to traverse virtually any armor with its vibrational twin blades. This quality, together with its status as the most dangerous living Mech, has led to the existence of some cults that have the prototype Skriag as a sort of deity. In Vupa 6 some shrines dedicated to the cult of Skriag have been located.

      First of the Serpentarius Brood Mechs discovered and produced, and the only one of the three of Crystal Technology, but not less impressive in its time.

      The Serpentarius Brood, also known as Serpentarious Mechs, Kaiju Mechs or Living Mechs, have been identified as alien technology, belonging to an ancient and lost race, of which the archaeological evidences point as an antagonist of the Forerunner.

      The discovered and produced Serpentarius Mechs (Gigus, Nakshi and Skriag) shares the extraordinary particularity of being a synthesized living, organic Mech, whose inner molecular structure is closer to a non carbon living being base than to a mechanical construct.

      The way to Access the cockpit of these living Mechs can be traumatic for those pilots who lack courage, determination and a strong willpower, since they must literally let themselves be swallowed by the living Mech, to access the control cabin housed under the extraordinary bionic-spinal bulb, that integrates silicon-organic matter with highly advanced circuits of alien technology, powered by the TL100 A.I.
