Mechanomicon: Notos

During the Gorax siege of Novum Dolorum at 3211 and the everlasting swarms of Ambershard Stalkers, the Hegemony found a need to release a new flamer Mechs able to deal with the countless waves of the massive new Gorax's plague. The new design was carried by a collaboration between the Illyrian House of Romulus and the Novum Dolorum Research and Security Director, Tory. This staff brought to life the Notos, a new titan that soon showed to be a new must have for all those Commanders eager to own the latest technologies to incorporate into their elite forces.

To build the Notos class, the Novum Engineers used both, the inner skeleton as the exoskeleton of the legendary Boreas, and baptized it following the same criteria as with the Boreas, which was an Old Terra Greek deity of the cold northern winds, and called it Notos, the godling hot southern wind, as a clear reference of the burning storm this Mech is able to release.

With heavy upgrades that made from the Notos class an outstanding Mech able to dethrone the legendary Boreas as Mech King, the Novum Dolorum engineers produced in 3312 a real mechanical demon able to burn the very own hell.

Currently now, this stalwart of Illyrian pride is manufactured in Novum Dolorum, where a part of the production is directed to join the Novum Security Staff and the Hegemony Military elite units.
