The civil war suffered by the Shogunate between 3306 and 3307, resulted in the secession of a large sector of the periphery of the Shogunate, giving rise to the birth of a new Minor Power in the galaxy: Sengakuji Reaches, under the leadership of Kiyomasa, formerly known as the Prince of Flowers and secondborn of the Shogunate's Emperor Meiji.

The Minor Power was named by the prince Kiyomasa after Sengaku-ji, an ancient Japanese temple from Old Terra, famous for housing the graves of the Forty-seven Ronin, legendary warriors who showed iron will and loyalty until the last consequences. Paradigm of the highest virtues ​​that a warrior must have, transmitted through the ancient Japanese culture to the Shogunate and inherited by the new power of Sengakuji Reaches.

Kiyomasa Sama, Sengakuji Heika

Kiyomasa ensured the survival of the nascent galactic state, by controlling the AlphaCorp facilities in the sector with which he created his own manufacturing industry: the Cherry Blossom Mechworks Corporation, to which the Prince Kiyomasa lured the entire engineer team responsible for the production of the Kaiju (Serpentarius) Mechs, the classes Gigus, Skriag and Nakshi, to which he  later would add the production of the formidable light class Mechs Commissar.


In order to guarantee the military defense and independence of Sengakuji Reaches, Kiyomasa formalized important contracts with some of the most important mercenary factions, with the powerful Fusion clan at the forefront, thus guaranteeing his call to the ranks in case his space was violated by any of the remaining powers of the Galaxy.
