[Galactic Menace]
Droch’ah' oh-Thyehgr is the last known Forerunner and one of the most dangerous Arch Villains in the Galaxy. Droch'ah or Drochah are both accepted transcripts.
The Forerunner
The primal race is the oldest known civilization. They arrived in our galaxy more than 100,000 years ago from a distant world.
Said to be our creators by genetic engineering, they were certainly masters and slavers for mankind in that ancient era.
Their technology has never been surpassed. It was they who discovered the Niode technology. Through this advanced tech, the Forerunners created the Niode gateway System which links all planets, obviating all other forms of space transport.
The Forerunner technological progress ended with a cruel war between their different factions for the control of the fledging niobium resources. Droch'ah is the only known survivor of the conflict.
Survivor to the extinction
Droch’ah survived the genocidal war by means of the Chroniode. The Chroniode is a forerunner tech relic allowing the use of gateways to travel through time, to the future as well as to the past. It is not known how or why Droch’ah chose our time to attempt his infamous plans.
Apocalypse?
It is clear that the main goals of Droch’ah are the restoration of his race to total domination by destruction of mankind. He then plans to restore the Forerunner Golden Age. To do this, he has hired or controlled by means of his mind powers many of the most infamous villains and pirates of the galaxy.
The League of Ages
Through the Chroniode, Droch’ah managed to acquire the DNA of a wide selection of the most brilliant heroes, warriors and military geniuses of all times; DNA that he used to create a clone army with the support of the cloning knowledge of the infamous Dr. Drake.
Although not every clone was successful linked to the AI’s, Droch’ah patiently refined his techniques. After thousands of failures, his methods finally discovered the way to consistently retain the historical military brilliance and integrate it with modern mecha combat skills.
This army is known as the League of Ages, as each one of those clones came from a legendary historical warrior.
Battle of Yomi
A massive effort against the League of Ages was organized by the Great Powers and Mercenary Clans, and a final Battle on Yomi in 3316 was certain to lead to the defeat of Droch'ah. In desperation he destroyed the Chroniode. The destruction of the artefact seems to have caused an erratic distortion in the space/time continuum, and the remnants of the League of Ages went into the Yomi underground caverns, to fortify the last of Droch'ah strongholds. This has made Yomi the most dangerous part of the galaxy.
Known Traits
Droch’ah has a lizard humanoid form, with a metabolism above the best human standards and an intellect far above that of a human.
He has also shown telepathy and mind control skills. While it is possible that he has more psychic powers, those are pure speculation.
The Droch'ah's chosen mech is a Forerunner Regis class, an ancient war machine of alien technology that is not available for human manufacture.
