The Solderbot Hive is a fresh Niode Chassis item, produced to increase the overall survival rate of the large 100 ton behemoths within the Galaxy. This Chassis provides the mecha with an enhacement of the maneuvering and avoidance capabilities, protection against enemy bombardement and a noticeable auto reparation value.
The Solderbot Hive is a one of a kind piece of equipment for all pilots that have in their hanger bay some of the largest behemoths in the Galaxy. Mechas like the Fext, Notos and Apatotron would love to have these placed on their systems, boosting their total performance, but all of the largest mechas in the Galaxy would benefit just as well with it's pure balanced output abilities. However, this piece of high end equipment is only available on the heavy 100 Ton mechas, all other chassis unable to bear the added weight and bulk of the upgrades.
Provided that a cunning Pilot applies these correctly within their formations of mechas, even a single Chassis is enough to be a force to be reckoned with. This is a sign of new pieces of gear within our Galaxy, and if this quality keeps coming out of the factories around the Galaxy from the different manufacturers, we would have an incredible assortment of gear to choose from.
2. Tech description
A hive-shaped matrix structure with hexagonal profile that houses hundreds of self-reparating drones (category B in damage restoration capability). These hives have joint panels, capable of adapting to the interior of any of the 100 tons BFM class mechas. The hive structure is connected to the own mech's damage evaluation system, but in addition, each of the arthropod-shaped drones have their own damage sensors.
To avoid accidents, it is recommended to deactivate the system during the repair and overhaul of the internal structure by human operators.
