The Dragon Faction commonly labels their Clans after rare gemstones and jewels, followed by the name "Dragons".
They had a strong Pilot group within a single organization, able to win Clan Wars and King of the Mountain events with relative ease. However, they began to stretch out to different Clans and Factions, recruiting those that would listen as they went.Before long, the Dragons Faction had many skilled Pilots in its wings. Ranging from young and old Pilots, all willing to fight as a team and work towards a common goal.
Dragons has had alliances with a handful of other Factions in their time. Factions like Brotherhood, Black Star and the occasional member from other Factions around. There have also been talks of more alliances being formed by Dragons with Brotherhood around 3316, but nothing for sure has come out to confirm such details.
Along one of these alliances was the connection between RND and Dragons in their fight against the Galaxy's threat of the Shogunate rogue General Fujigawa and the Princes of Flowers and Iron in the year 3307, collaborating to beat both military opponents before anything could come of their war. From this collaboration, Dragons were able to create a series of connections with RND Pilots that would end up joining Dragons at a later date.
When the schism within RND happened in the year 3308, the Dragon Faction willingly welcomed all those that would accept their invite. Many did, and that made the Dragons even larger, increasing the amount of clans they had. From this RND spread into minor units, the Dragon Family achieved a series of great Pilots and tacticians. Pilots like the Commanders Michael Telladira and German Jaramillo Pulido quickly rose the ranks of the Dragons ladder and became upstanding Officers, helping with allocation of power and intelligence.
Not long after RND Pilots joined the Dragons Faction, members of the Mercury Battalions (BHG) began to join the Dragons too. Officers like Cmdr. James Waddington helping to form the core of what the Dragon Faction is today.
