The Speed determines how quickly the Mech will fire its weapons at the enemy Mech.
Although the details of all speed constraints are carefully kept by the confrères and various companies of Mech engineers and technicians, the basic theory is known, even superficially.

Although the details of all speed constraints are carefully kept by the confrères and various companies of Mech engineers and technicians, the basic theory is known, even superficially.
The following factors intervene in the greater or lesser speed of combat of a Mech, of which, the majority are cumulative:
- Mech Build Speed. This is the basical speed factor.
- Equipment Speed bonus. Usually acquired through the engines. It is directly added to the basical speed factor.
- Weapon Speed Factor. Directly added to the total Mech speed cactor.
- Slow applied by the enemy Mechs. This lowers the Mech speed factor in the same quantity of applied Slow effect.
- Number of weapons. Each operative weapon loaded in the Mech, will trigger a different initiative chance (so the higher amount of weapons, the faster the Mech could shot each weapon).
- Chaos factor in kinetic inversion of shot. This is a variable that responds to many factors (pilot reflex speed, transmission efficiency of the AI and Mech actuators, atmospheric conditions, distance to the target and others).
This skill can be acquired or enhanced through:
- Mech build skills-tree
- Equipment
- Weapons
