A Mech with dodge will be missed by enemy shots more often. Each point of Dodge increases the chance to miss by roughly 1%.
The total effective dodge a Mech can have is 100%, any rate above that amount will be useless.
By build, all Mechs keep a passive avoidance system granting a 30% dodge hide to the pilot, but that will stack with all the visible dodge rates, counting towards the 100% limit.
For this reason, the maximum visible useful rate on dodge will be 70%.
A Pilot can get two bonus to dodge:
These bonus will raise a dodge rate of 62% to the optimal mark of 70%, that rank within the passive 30% will allow the maximum available dodge to the Mech.
Summarizing: A Mech reaches its optimal dodge at 62%, or 70% if the pilot lacks Honor Guard and Level bonus.
